Walking Coaching
Walking coaching creates forward motion, physically and mentally. It get us away from our normal space, where our thoughts can become a tangled and repetitive. Walking relaxes and re-energises the body by giving the muscles a workout and increasing blood circulation throughout the body. This helps to calm the mind, ground you in the present and sharpen thinking. I am pretty evangelical about the power of a simple walk in nature!
If you fancy joining me for a walk once a week or once a fortnight, we can use that time together to talk through the goal you’re working on or any issues you’re trying to untangle. You might find that the fact that we’re walking and not exactly looking at each other makes you feel more relaxed and able to articulate your thoughts. You might find you feel completely and utterly different about things once the walk is over.
I hold walking sessions in New Mills and the surrounding area. Either in High Lea Park (if you feel like something gentle and safe) or on the paths into the Peak District (if you feel like your mind needs more of a challenge). I can travel to a Manchester park of your choosing for a small extra fee. Sessions start at £60.
